“ Good food, good prices. We ordered grilled codfish (really good) and octopus rice (maybe the type of rice wasn't the best choose, it was large rice) they have quite different kind of beers. It's out of the tourist zone. ”

“ Excellent food, excellent portions, friendly, professional service, relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. So, guys... I've seen a few reviews on here about slow service, look... The food is cooked to order, if you want microwaved, or kept warm food, then McDonalds is the place for you.. expect a 20 min wait for your food to be prepped and cooked. That said, we ordered Massa com peixe de mar, a pasta dish with fresh salmon and prawns in a rich and creamy tomato based sauce. Excellent flavour, cooked to perfection and enough to take home for lunch next day... Also, Gaspacho com pão e Joaquinzinhos, a cold clear soup of vegetable base with presunto, served with fresh regional Alentejano bread. The Joaquinzinhos are small fish (carapaus) lightly battered and deep fried, they are very small, you can and should eat everything except the tail, (that's how we eat them in Almada) crunch, crunch.!! Amazing..!!! Ok, now the farófias, I have never had farófias só well prepared and never so large, amazing, loved them..!! We also had bread, cheese and olives, with a couple of beers while waiting for the main course.. Olha!! Quem quer mais, cerveja, pão, azeitonas e queijo..!! The cheese is locally produced at Queijaria Sapata.. (www.queijariasapata.pt) Their shop is in Reguengos de Monsaraz.. Finished with a coffee, obviously.. and we were very satisfied.. Again, excellent all round, will be visiting again for dinner.. Muito obrigado a cozinha da Carmo.. ”
